The Baidu Apollo RT6 is a 6th-generation autonomous vehicle developed in partnership with BAIC. At approximately $25,000 production cost, it dramatically undercuts traditional robotaxi platforms. Featuring a removable steering wheel, 8 LiDAR units, and dual redundant computing, it operates commercially through Baidu's Apollo Go ride-hailing service in multiple Chinese cities.
