Enterprise pricing is determined on a per-contract basis. Factors typically include volume, deployment scope, support level, and integration requirements.
AI, Data & Privacy
Strong - all data stays on the device
This robot processes and stores all data locally on the device itself. No personal data leaves the hardware, which provides the strongest level of data protection for EU residents under GDPR. There is no cross-border data transfer risk.
How to keep it private
Motor control and facial expression generation run on-device via ARM-based processors. However, conversational AI requires cloud connectivity to external LLM providers (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini). Ameca cannot hold conversations offline but can still perform pre-scripted animations and movements locally.
Available privacy controls
All data processing happens locally when possible, minimizing external data transmission and storage
Adheres to GDPR and CCPA with transparent consent mechanisms for all data collection and usage
Advanced encryption and secure data handling protocols protect all stored and transmitted information
Choose which external AI service receives conversation data, or configure a privacy-focused provider
Ameca is a UK-built robot with strong privacy defaults. For maximum privacy, use a self-hosted LLM endpoint instead of cloud providers for conversation. The Tritium interface runs locally on the robot and can be accessed over local network only. Review which LLM API keys are configured, as conversation data flows to those providers. Request details from Engineered Arts about data retention policies for any cloud telemetry.
What this means for EU residents
Advanced encryption and secure data handling. All data processing happens locally when possible to minimize external data transmission. Tritium 3 OS runs on customized Linux kernel with browser-based remote interface.
